Farnum and Funmar loams 0-1% slope. The USDA Natural Resources
Conservation Service (NRCS) reports in the Soil Survey of Reno County,
Ks, that Furnum soil is one of the best soils in Reno County for wheat
production. No other tract of land has sold in this area with this high a
percentage of Furnum & Funmar loams in recent months. As of April 1,
2018, the land was planted to a winter cover crop. The farm operator
intends to plant it to soybeans.
